About JC Inventions

JC Inventions LLC invents construction hand tools for contractors to use more easily and quicker to get the job done themselves. All of our patented inventions are based on a "do it yourself" idea to save time, labor, and materials. Our tools replace the hand of another worker so that one person can get the job done faster than two people more efficiently.

We have many more utility patented construction hand tools that are just as convenient and have the same concept of saving time, labor, and focusing on aiding one individual to do the Work.

PRODUCTS

BATTER BOSS

This one-person system positions and adjusts wooden forms, rebar, and wooden/metal stakes to replace the batter board and frame with a single tool that is used to quickly lay out the mason’s lines for accurate corner panels and level plane. The system reduces the amount of materials needed for mason’s lines procedure, and the bracket tool reduces the number of people and time required for positioning the forms. A single person is able to position and adjust the wooden forms, rebar, and wooden/metal stakes, with the potential of reducing costs and time for foundation and slab construction.

CABINET PALM

This is a system and method for enabling a single person to properly mount wall-mounted objects, such as cabinets or shelves. The system comprises a set of interconnecting components that enable one person to create an extendable wall mounting platform upon which a wall-mounted object can be placed, level, and secured. The method comprising mounting the extendable will mounting platform, placing the object to be mounted on said platform and position it flush with the wall tow which it will be mounted. Using the system's leveling adjust ments, the person is able to level the object. Then, as the object sits on the platform, the person can secure the object using suitable wall-mounting techniques.

CABINET CROWN MOLDING PALM

One can adjust for level in a line parallel to the wall and perpendicular to ehe wall. When leveling adjustments have been made, the object can then be securely mounted to the wall using well-known wall mounting techniques. Where the object can be mounted is near a ceiling, it is often the case that a strip of material, such as crown molding, is used to enclose the space between the top surface of the object and the ceiling. In such cases, it is common for the strip of material to be angled such that it makes a 45 degree angle with the top front edge of the wall-mounted object and the ceiling.

HINGED PIPE CLAMP

The hinged pipe mounting fixture is intended to allow a pipe network to be fully assembled after the pipe sections are partially mounted to a wooden structure, such as floor joist and wood stud. This tool is built into the fixture's structure during manufacturing, and when the fixture is fully mounted to the wooden structure, one screw is used to partially mount the fixture. After partial mounting, pipe sections can be inserted in the fixture then joined and soldered. The hanging nature of the partially mounted fixture allowed pipe sections to be joined in the air instead of on the ground. It also keeps it away from the flammable wood structure during the soldering, for example. When fully assembled, the pipe network can then be mounted to the wood structure by causing the hinged fixture to rotate such that is becomes flush with the mounting surface. At that time, one or more screws may be used to securely mount the pipes to the wooden structure.
